Gabo Arora

He is a specialist in international affairs with over 12 years of experience in programming and policy related to development, human rights, education, post-conflict and emergency relief, with a strong focus on partnerships and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects. He has worked and lived in the USA, Italy, Colombia, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, India and most recently was based in Haiti, as Deputy Coordinator for UNICEF, assisting in reconstruction efforts after the January 12th earthquake. He is currently a Senior Advisor for Policy and Outreach for the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's Advocacy Group for the Millennium Development Goals. Fluent in numerous Indian and Romance Languages, he also holds honors degrees in Philosophy, Economics and International Relations from New York University, Johns Hopkins University and The Bologna Center in Italy.
